This small collection was handed down to me. I really don't know much about it other than it was a cousin of my grandfather's.

Here is a link to the gallery.

I'm curious of to what it is worth as I may want to sell it. I really don't cherish it the way someone else might and want it to find good hands.

Also, Where might be the best place to sell it?

Great items.

The Apollo 17 flag might have the highest individual market price; perhaps the items would do best as a group if you choose to sell. The multi-signed photo is nice but I'm not sure if there is significant value. Just one opinion based on a quick look at your pictures.

There are many auctions with space specialties, particularly for higher-value items (the flag would probably be an example). Regency-Superior, RR Auction, Goldberg, Heritage, Bonhams are some of the larger houses. eBay has a pretty vibrant market for space material as well.

A virtually identical flag presentation sold for $2000 in 2011. I'm a little surprised it wasn't a little higher considering that it's stated that it was on the lunar surface, but it's not signed by the crew, which makes a difference.

You could try to sell it here at that price or a little higher, or go with the auction houses named above. (Of course, with no autographs you'd have to wait for their next space sales, which could be six month away since they're almost all having them this month or next.)

Hold on - I just saw in an old thread that one sold on eBay for over $4,000!

Thanks for the replies.

Upon a little research, I saw a value of anywhere from $2-5k.

Any events you know of in the Seattle area?

I love the LM test LGA-8 award. You might find someone in this forum who specializes in that test and would be more interested than a casual collector.

Regarding the flown US flag presentation, is the flag mounted on the glass or otherwise above the paper? There seems to be a significant shadow under the flag. I'm simply curious (and I like how it looks), I think your valuation range is correct.

I'm looking at the same presentation to my father and the flag is mounted to the paper presentation.

Yes, it is mounted to the paper.
