This is a nice autographed Gene Cernan, "John Wayne" 8x10, with "Last Man On the Moon!" and "Apollo XVII".

I purchased it from Novaspace back in 2009, and it's always been stored in archival plastic cover. For authenticity, I have the original purchase receipt.

I'm pondering selling it and would like to get an what it would be worth.

All insight will be appreciated. Thank you.

Were I selling that print I would offer it on collectSPACE with a value of $150 and take it from there.

Wow, I paid more than that for it in 2009.

And he charges a lot more than that to sign now. But once the photo has left any astronaut's hands the value is a lot less than you paid - it's the knowledge that you know it was for you and it's definitely them who signed it that you're buying nowadays.

My suggestion would be to put it on eBay fixed price with what you want and a best offer so you can also sell at what you'll accept.

And he has signed thousands of autographs since 2009. In my opinion, private signing and dealer list pricing is typically more than secondary market pricing for common signed poses.

Pre ordered Gene Cernan signatures at Autographica this fall are currently £105 or approximately $156.

From all accounts the boys at Autographica have negotiated an excellent rate from Gene for the event though I am a tad concerned that since publishing this price the pound has slipped 7% against the dollar.

Similar autograph with last "Apollo astronaut" instead of last man.
