I've a bad feeling about this Neil Armstrong signed card. I don't know why, but it looks like it was signed yesterday? Laser print or something? I don't know, it feels not good to me — and also this one... |

I examined this item in-hand and believe it to be authentic (or I would not have issued a Letter of Authenticity). The item I examined was real ink on paper — not a laser print or any sort of copy. It was signed with good speed, confidence and formation is completely consistent with authentic exemplars. In my opinion it is aged consistently with an autograph likely signed in the 80s. I think signatures on index cards sometimes age better than signed lithographs because the ink permeates the index card better than the lithographs, which had a light finish to the surface. By the way, I will note copies are an issue that seems to be getting worse. People are stealing high res images from places like eBay and RR and creating cuts, many of which are under glass in displays making it difficult to tell they are copies. I have observed one seller who appears to make copies on some sort of paper that looks old. Then he pastes the cut to an album page or something similar to further enhance the smokescreen. I know they are copies because I know the owners of the original and it is not him! |

My pleasure and you are right to be cautious! By the way, just to be clear I am commenting on the first example you posted. I cannot speak to the second example. | |
