I got my flown charm and ready for the next plunge. Which is the smartest purchase? Apollo flown Beta cloth patch or flag?

Depends on the viewpoint: from an economic standpoint, beta patches seem [in my limited experience] to sell less quickly than a US flag since there are many types of betas, and a flag is more accessible to a general collector.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, I'd buy the one that you MOST enjoy looking at, whether it's a beta for a mission that excites you (and betas tend to be more 'signable' if you meet a crew member someday) or a flag with provenance that makes you happy...
