This ISN'T my listing, but it seems like such a good price on Andrew Chaikin's "A Man on the Moon" three volume set with slipcase that someone here would surely want it. Usually runs about $50-100. Note the set is unread/still wrapped in plastic.

Hope this is helpful.

Someone got a great deal on that set. I own that version myself. Great photographs!

One of my all-time great "scores" was this set, brand-new and shrink-wrapped, on close-out in a store (Walden, maybe) in Naples Florida for $8.99 nine years ago.

I have my old beat-up, well thumbed, and heavily reread paperback copy that I was almost, but not quite, too embarrassed to ask Andrew Chaikin sign for me after attending one of his lectures. While monitarily valueless, it has a pride of place on my bookshelf. I'd love to get the big slipcase edition one of these days, but it would have to go along side my old copy.
