A friend asked me about these covers, and I was unable to answer. Anyone have any idea how many of these were printed?I believe they were made for Jim Irwin and were in extremely short supply, but cannot recall HOW short. These are the covers with the astronaut(s)in the Moon Rover, with a green shamrock on it. Any idea of the value as well as the print run? Thanks. |

Al, there was a posting on cS that I wrote sometime ago explaining more about the Irwin/shamrock cachet covers; how they came about, their printing, distribution, and so on. Perhaps it can be re-posted here... |

Ken out of curiosity - what would an uncancelled Shamrock cover signed by Al Worden be worth? |
