I am fairly new to collecting and was hoping someone could offer their opinion on these Apollo 16 signatures.Comparing them to other autopens and secretarials, they do not look like any that I could see. Your opinions are much appreciated. |

They don't match known autopens, nor do they appear on the Preprints section of astroautopens.com. It would be great if someone just got an Apollo 16 crew-signed item for $5. But something about the so-perfect placement of the signatures, along with the fact that I don't see any writing get fainter as the pen was set down and lifted up, makes me thing they are some preprints we don't know about. If you bought it, please let me us know what the writing looks like when you can see it in person. |

The signatures look awful small assuming the post card is a standard size. |

To me the postcard looks like a public relations effort by the Voice of America. I think the signatures are preprinted. |

Received the post card today. Hard to tell even in person. I do agree they look too "perfect" in the sense of the placement as well as the signatures all look similar in height. Still when looking at it under the light, at an angle or up close, it's difficult to tell. Possible it is a preprint. |
