Does this Armstrong signature seem right on a 1966 Houston Astros team baseball appearing in a Heritage sports October auction: |

I can't say anything about the Armstrong but the 1966 manager of the Astros, Grady Hatton, signed on the "sweet spot" which is traditional for the manager to do.Also, sometimes a clubhous boy would sign all the players autographs on a baseball. |

First, I simply am not a fan of anyone signing a baseball other than a baseball player (in my opinion). Does anyone else think the color of the ink for the "Armstrong" looks different than the others surrounding it (looks greener to me)? |

The color is definitely different, and the signature itself looks more like a secretarial than an authentic Armstrong. Not saying anything necessarily nefarious about it, but I'd NOT be bidding on the ball for the Armstrong signature at all. |
