Is the price realized on this lucite an aberration or trend?

A trend. There's no doubt space collectible prices are rising, some steeply. This heatshield artifact may be outside the box, but that may be more an indication of an uneducated buyer rather than a pricing aberration.

I'm not getting how it can be a trend if the price realized is postulated as more the product of an uneducated buyer than a pricing aberration.

Someone may have misread this to be from Apollo 11? But even so, a tad expensive!
