I was given this signed envelope a long time ago. 1) Who are these signatures and 2) Do they seem genuine. Is it and are they of any significance? Thanks! |

Looks like the Soviet Soyuz crew of ASTP Leonov and Kubasov. I'm not an expert but the signatures look good to me. |

Those are definitely Alexei Leonov on top and Valery Kubasov on the bottom. I'm not an expert either, but both signatures match up nicely with signatures I have, both obtained in person, and another pair on a cover from Deke Slayton's own collection. |

As many of you may know, I exhibit a ASTP collection around the country. These signatures look 100% authentic as they are similiar to ones I got directly from Russia. ------------------ John Macco Space Unit #1457 |

Thanks everyone. It's nice to know when something is legit. Just curious, can anyone give me a ballpark idea what the two items might be worth? Were they the entire Soviet crew for this mission (sorry, not a Russian aviation expert)? |

I usually sell these at $49, they tend to fetch $30 to $70 on eBay. The official KNIGA cover is probably at the higher end of the range with this one around $50-$60. They are fairly common but desirable due to the first docking mission. And yes, the autographs are good. |
