My dad worked on Mercury and Gemini ( he is on the monuments in Titusville). Anyways... I have two manuals and I am wondering if they are worth anything/need to be in a safe deposit box.
  1. A 56 page binder: Evaluation of a Mercury Spacecraft in a Simulated Orbit Environment. prepared by A. M. Paolini 29 May 1962. Perfect condition with glossy photographs.

  2. Tabbed binder: Project Mercury Familiarization Manual; NASA; Manned Satellite Spacecraft 18 Orbit Configuration 1 June 1962. Also perfect, with serial number 81, and my dad's Signature.
Thanks! My email is mrtelcom@gmail.com.

If you have any advice on another place to ask this question, I would appreciate that info as well.

In my opinion, the Evaluation report is worth around $50. The Familiarization Manual in the region of $375 to $475. A few years ago the Familiarization manual were selling for $500+ but have dipped of late.
