Does anyone might know more about this particular Apollo poster? It was in an original collection of items I found a while back and after trying to find more information on it, I've hit a brick wall. I was hoping someone on this forum might be able to help me put a value on it? I attached some other pictures of the poster. There is a slight tear on one of the ends, but it doesn't encroach into the image itself. It is authentic and vintage, so it's in surprisingly good shape for almost 50 years old. What's interesting, is that it was printed by NASA in 1967, before any of the landings.

I've had that poster ever since I was a kid in 1967. It was produced by the Goddard Office of Space Sciences (GOSS) and distributed by NASA. There's an online scan of it at the National Air and Space Museum website. It's also on a wall in the NASM's "Apollo to the Moon" gallery.I have had someone from every Apollo mission (including Skylab and ASTP) sign it, as well as a lot of the support folks from the ground. Makes a great display piece, but it's HEAVY when glassed in and framed! As to value, depends on condition. It tends to crinkle if handled repeatedly — you can even see the creases in the NASM scan. I've seen it go for $60-$150 in the past. | |
