You can buy a lot of neat stuff on Craigslist. But who knew you can buy a real moon rock for only $500, "retrieved from the Apollo mission Tom Hanks was on" (which would mean Apollo 13, which never landed, so Haise or Lovell had really long arms or the CSM swooped really low), and authenticated by "Buzz Aldroun," who proudly annotates "100% legit"?Um, I got a penny. Are there 50,000 people who can chip in a penny with me? Bueller... Bueller.... |

I didn't know he changed his last name to "Aldroun" A very interesting family name. Can't figure out what country that would originate from. Any ideas?  He lives in my area and I am very tempted to contact him. So tempted. |

Very intersting piece. Clearly a primitive "neolithic" early form of COA signed by Mr Aldroun.Kim, I think you guys at Novaspace can learn a lot about provenance and supporting documentation from this piece. |

Maybe he thinks it's a "moon rock" that was used in the movie. Does he really think someone won't at least try to verify at least the basic info (like Apollo 13 didn't even land?)? I mean, it's still BS, but really? He thinks he can pull this off and get $500 for this "rock"? If he does, I've got a lot of 'em in my back yard... |
