Author Topic:   Houston Post Apollo 11 metal engraving plate Jth123 New Member Posts: From: Registered: posted 12-22-2013 09:41 PM                I have come across something that I feel is not only awesome but could be a great piece of Apollo 11 history. I have found a metal printing plate with the Apollo 11 insignia. Here are the things that stand out: All the lettering is backwards The plate is one solid piece; the insignia is not welded on to this 5 1/2" plate On the back it reads: Houston Post 1969 RED Micro-metal, Photoengravers Plates It has two small placement holes one on each side, to keep it from shifting Any help would be great. Thank you in advance.
