Does anyone know if this is an authentic Irwin autograph and have any information about this cover? Thank you.

I wouldn't like to comment on the authenticity as I'm not the best judge on those things but the seller appears to be the same company that is often used on the TV series Pawn Stars to authenticate certain historical items.

I can't remember whether this was the same expert who carried out the appraisal on the Apollo 16 flag display that was featured on the show recently.

Thanks for your response. That is helpful; they have all types of items, including a George Washington autograph.

The Irwin looks fine to me, only my opinion, though based on my experiences with his signature characteristics and patterns during the last few decades.

Looks fine to me, though the price seems high.

I was considering offering a "best offer". This cover does not stand out to me and I know it is not flown. However, I will be meeting Al Worden at the end of the month and wanted him to sign a piece with an Irwin autograph. My plan is to have Dave Scott complete the crew collection in the future. What is the ideal price to pay for Irwin's signature on this particular cover, considering he has also dated it? This cover does not seem to be as special as others stamped Kennedy Space Center to me. Thank you for all the help!

The autograph does look genuine, but at $195 is greatly over priced. Jim Irwin was a prolific signer (except for WSSs) and covers signed by him are relatively easy to find - and cheap.

The Apollo 15 crew was a good signing crew and you could probably find a complete Apollo 15 crew signed cover for less than what the seller wants for this Irwin signed cover - and save yourself the Worden and Scott signing fees.
