As you probably know, a photo of the astronauts from Groups 1 and 2 was made with pre-printed signatures underneath the image. You might assume that despite the seller's elaborate story (mother worked for NASA for 22 years; photo personally given to father by Alan Shepard) this eBay item is one of those preprints because a) the seller has 0 sales; and b) he lists one of the signers as Dic Slayton. But then you might look at the photo, and fall for his fiendishly clever wicked ploy! Beware! Do not make the opening bid of $50,000! Bewaaaaaaare! Steve P.S. Oh yes, happy to pay 50 g's for a pre-printed litho that looks as if it's been smeared with a quarter-inch of honey. And his mother's name was or is Gloria Swanson Hendon? Gimme a break, pal! I'm ready for MY close-up, Mr. Hendon! |

I used his link to see another photo of it...it is the same photo but larger.Also lets you into his personal photo albums-why do people put their lives on the web? |

I emailed the guy. His reply was: quote: i'd have to see your picture as i said in my post i am sorry for the blurry photo but my camera is not that goo and this is not a pre print sheppard sighned it when he gave it to my father and my father put a gloss over it i garantee you these are signatures
