I am offering a very scarce, as new, limited edition hardback entitled "The Magic and Menace of SpaceShipOne" published by the late Brian Binnie in 2021. Sadly Brian died at age 69 on September 15, 2022. Brian will be interred in Arlington Cemetery. This book is numbered #458/500 by Brian. Softback copies were later published without autographs as well as 100 extra hardbacks in some form.This 420 page book includes more than 200 color photos, charts, and diagrams, many not previously published before this book.
The book itself is numbered (458/500) and signed in the front by Brian. Also included are three signed lithographs by Brian and a signed SpaceShipOne postcard that was flown into space on Oct. 4, 2004 with Brian on SpaceShipOne on this historic flight. A fourth lithograph contained in the book is not autographed. A certification also comes with this book signed by Brian regarding the flown and autographed postcard.
SpaceShipOne currently resides in the Smithsonian.
In total the buyer obtains five items autographed by Brian including the scarce and very desirable autographed and flown postcard on Oct. 4, 2002 and canceled at Mojave CA.
