As a long time collector, I am in the process of downsizing. I am offering 53 books, most autographed autobiographies, by pre-shuttle era astronauts... Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, and Skylab astronauts and Chuck Yeager and Sally Ride.

Aside from a few books such as ones published by Jim Irwin and Michael Collins, these books and dust jackets are in as new condition with archival dustjacket covers. Some are inscribed either to me or my son, others are not.

I am interested in a cash sale only and in person pick-up with inspection by the buyer. Pick-up would be at a secure site near Lancaster Co, Pennsylvania.

This is an opportunity for one collector with the financial resources to acquire a wonderful collection of high quality books for one money all at one time. I am NOT interested in selling individual books so please don’t ask.

The value of this lot is based on recent auction results or retail value. Remember that quality is always king!

Once contacted via email, I will send a detailed list of all 53 books in a MS Excel file. My goal is to keep this collection together but if it does not sell, I will consign it to a specialized auction.

There are also shuttle era autographed autobiographies and books by NASA scientists which represent a second collection that the first buyer can also acquire if interested as well as many scarcer titles relating to the space program starting with the pre-WW-2 era.

All times are CT (US)
