Before he was a shuttle astronaut Jim Adamson flew helicopters in Viet Nam, a definite war here. Included in this batch is a picture of a "Hunter/Killer" team that he was part of, signed by him, and NASA Ames test pilot Dan Dugan - who also flew these missions.

Also a Gathering of Mustangs and Legends program, that was attended by Borman and Anders (alas not signed - sorry).

I won't bore you with the details but I recently spent 2 weeks in the hospital (I'm fine now) but although I'm on Medicare (I know - hard to believe ) the deductibles have been staggering as you can imagine. Hence the reasons for selling some of the items I'd normally not part with.

In any event, I have some items up that will be closing Friday AM.

The space and test flight items I'll list here but I did want to point out, as some of y'all buy my historical items also (simply so there's no misunderstanding): The Doolittle Raider signed book is NOT signed by Jimmy Doolittle — it's signed by his son John who has a remarkably similar signature. A bid was entered before I knew so I wasn't able to modify the listing — but I did add addendum.

A signed photo from Star City signed by a couple of Cosmo's and Astro's from Star City (from the Usachev collection with COA).

No X-15 this time but an XB-70 signed photo.

Also, a hardcover book on Aeronautics - volume 4, from 1939. What's unique about this one is, it addresses test flight, and was used by Ken Chilstrom (prolific test pilot - yeagers boss, first USAF flight of the XP-86 that became the F-86 and MUCH more) when he went through Stability and Control (now the Test Pilot School). He has signed this - it was one of many things he gave me when he moved from FL to DC.

I relisted the Charlie Duke signed NASA press release photo, I'm boggled it didn't do better. I removed the reserve so you can see the bid price which is considerably less than his signature fee.

Also, John Glenn and Anna Fisher signed covers, Mercury 13 Irene Leverton signed piece plus more.

I usually don't promote this here, but there is a Viola Gentry signed 1932 Air Races cover. Gentry was a very prolific pioneer aviatrix. A not oft found item.

• A VFR Terminal chart of the Washington DC area that includes Pax River. This is where the Navy test pilot school is and where they do flight test. Signed by 2 astronauts who flew there.

• Mercury 13 hard to find testing photo of Gene Nora Jessen, signed by her.
