Have a few interesting items to offer that no longer fit into my collecting focus:Signed 16x20s - Apollo 7 Saturn 1B on the pad at night, signed in silver ink by Schirra and Cunningham each adding "Apollo 7 & CDR/LMP". Comes with photos of each of them signing it. SOLD
- Tom Stafford Apollo 10 WSS pose, signed in black ink across his chest. $100
- Tom Stafford ASTP Saturn 1B on the pad at dusk (beautiful pink sky behind the rocket), signed in black ink with "ASTP" after his name. SOLD
- Apollo 13 MOCR image of a group of Mission Control warriors trying to "work the problem". Signed by two of the folks in the image, Jerry Bostick and Glynn Lunney. Each added a special sentiment about the historic flight after their names. A few more signatures can be added to this by other folks in the shot such as Chris Kraft. $110
- Apollo 17 matte from Gene Cernan's Novaspace Garage Sale. The image is of the helo above the CM during recovery ops and Gene hand wrote "Almost Home......" on the top portion. Cernan then wrote "Apollo XVII, Dec 19, 1972, The South Pacific!" and signed it with a great signature. $125
- Gemini 6 matte from the collection of Collins Bird, a Washington friend of all the astronauts. The image is the side view of the GT-6 capsule from GT-7, and both Wally Schirra and Tom Stafford hand signed below the photo. There is an inscription above the signatures, in Stafford's writing, that says "To Collins Bird, With best wishes and many thanks for all of the hospitality". Signatures are slightly faded as is the inscription. Not gem mint, with some slight staining on the bottom, but priced accordingly. $110
Badges - Apollo 17 Contractors Press Reception, Dec 4, 1972, Atlantic Beach Lodge Convention Center, Cocoa Beach. Badge #234 and made out to Bonnie Callin. $25
- STS-26 Return to Flight launch badge, made out to Alvin H. Bishop. $15
- STS-95 circular launch guest pin, for John Glenn's Return to Flight mission. $10
Miscellaneous - Matted and framed photo of the Apollo 15 crew presenting Richard Nixon with a flown Apollo 15 artifact. Frame comes from Al Worden's personal collection and he signed and certified the front with black sharpie as such. A cool item from one of the lunar voyagers with a Presidential tie in. $160
- Cape Canaveral lighthouse christmas tree ornament. New in the box and never used. From the Historic American Lighthouse Collection. $15
- Code 3 Mercury capsule model of John Glenn's Friendship 7 spacecraft. Perfection condition and was only on display for a few weeks. From the original series, not the re-issue. $100
- Early 1960's mechanical "floaty" pencil from Pan American World Airways, Guided Missile Range Division. Float is a USAF rocket that launches from Cape Canaveral. Have only seen 1 other of these. $20
- Skylab tin bar individual serial numbered #1444. Front shows the Skylab space station in orbit and the back has the information on the bar. Thought this was a silver bar, but it's turned out to be tin. $10
- Painted depiction of John Glenn's boyhood home on a piece of wood, and purchased at the gift shop of The John and Annie Glenn Historic Site in New Concord, Ohio. An odd piece to describe and only likely appealing to fans of his, or folks from that area. $15
- Apollo 17 CM/SM 14k gold plated flown pin made from metal that was carried to the Moon on the Apollo 17 spacecraft. Comes with the Eversharp Pen Company COA, who originally issued the pins in partnership with Gene Cernan in the late-90's. Its a cool way to wear something on a shirt, suit or tie that has flown to the Moon. SOLD
Feel free to write me for photos. Thanks all! |
