A few items for sale: - Apollo 10 heat shield lucite
This charred heat shield segment was removed from the Charlie Brown following its Apollo 10 mission to the Moon and 24,790 mph reentry. Prepared by and sourced from the Kansas Cosmosphere.  - Apollo indicator meter (less the switches)
This 4.5 by 3 by 1.5 inch indicator meter (below, right) was removed from a Command Module ground trainer used by the astronauts at NASA's Manned Spacecraft Center (now Johnson Space Center) in Houston, Texas. Used to gauge signal strength, a red ID label on its side reads in part, For Use On Ground Instrument Trainer Only, Part No. 690707, Serial No. 11, Link Div. General Precision Inc.  - SMEAT trash bag
This beta cloth small trash bag (P/N: SEC12100229-301, Ser. No. 1014) was manufactured by General Electric Co. for NASA in March 1972. A Spacecraft Parts Tag identifies that it was removed from the Skylab Medical Experiment Altitude Test (SMEAT) chamber in September 1972. The bag was hermetically sealed and "cleaned for service" on November 16, 1973. Outer plastic has been signed on reverse by Bob Crippen and Bo Bobko.  - Discoverer XIV parachute lucite
These two fabric swatches were cut from Discoverer XIV's parachute for presentation to recovery team member R.C. Kent. After 17 orbits of the Earth snapping reconnaissance photos for the Central Intelligence Agency, Discoverer XIV reentered the atmosphere and deployed its parachute. On its third pass, a U.S. Air Force C-119 snagged the canopy using a hook that was trailing the aircraft. Discoverer XIV's capsule and most of its parachute are exhibited at the U.S. Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio.
