I know this is a long-shot but just wondering it anyone has the modern reprint of the 1929 issues of the German journal 'Die Rakete'?I have a spare copy of the 1928 volume (the modern reprints are rare themselves and worth $100!) but need the 1929 reprints to complete my set. If anyone can help please let me know! |

As suspected there was no response to this obscure request but if anyone (especially someone who can read German!) is interested in this journal for their collection please contact me.A trade for anything about the pre-war spaceflight movement would be of interest. |

Do not despair, but the number of people collecting German pre-war rocketry books/magazines in these forums is very small. I am not really into magazines, but books from that period regardless of language. Unfortunately, I have nothing to trade right now. |

I have a Dec. 1956 Nat'l. Geographic available for trade, if you're interested. It has the following articles: Sky Survey Charts the Universe (with 1 illustration) and Exploring the Farthest Reaches of Space (with 9 illustrations). I'm sorry, but I don't have anything pre-war. If you're interested, contact me off line. Also, my parents were German, so I have an interest in it for that reason, among others. |

Dominic, I am writing on a catalogue on pre-wwii pioneer rocket mail and space mail. If all goes well it will be available in 2014. I have old literature on this theme including a vast Friedrich Schmiedl archive. |
