For Sale: An original autographed 8x10 color photograph of the Apollo 1 astronauts: Virgil "Gus" Grissom, Ed White, and Roger Chaffee.

These autographs were obtained, in person, by my father. He worked in middle management on the Apollo Program at North American Aviation. They designed the Command Module and worked with the astronauts in person. These are original autographs, not autopens. You can determine this yourself by looking at the inconsistencies in the ink.

This is not the typical press release photo, but the astronauts are in their everyday shirt/tie work attire standing in front of the Command Module. This color photograph was well taken care of, and is in great condition except for a small piece torn out of the bottom left corner, along with a small amount of discoloration around the tear.

I also have an original autographed 8x10 black and white photograph of the Apollo 1 astronauts with the upper management and support staff of the Command Module design team at North American Aviation. The original autographs (not autopens) were personally obtained by my father when the astronauts came to NAA for testing in the flight simulator. This photograph is in pristine condition.

Additionally, a 16x20 original photograph of the entire Apollo Division at North American Aviation. The photograph is unique in that it has an arial-view appearance, as well as a "map" on the back with the name of each person in the photograph, where they are standing, and their department.

Further, I have some other random unclassified photographs of the NAA computer lab and an original carbon copied department memo.

I can email pictures upon request. I am willing to sell the entire collection together or each item individually. I have had one of the auction houses give me an unofficial appraisal, so I do understand the value of these items. Only serious offers will be considered. Thank you.

I fear that I am slightly technically challenged, and extremely time challenged, as I'm working 11 hour days in order to have Friday off work. lol! Would it be ok if I emailed them to you? And, anyone else who is interested, I would be happy to email them as well. Otherwise, it will be Friday before I have time to figure out how to actually post pictures on this forum. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you!
