I have decided to sell my Naval Aviation in Space print. This beautiful limited edition watercolor by R.L. Rasmussen was originally issued in 1989. This print is #990 of 1,000.The print has been professionally matted and framed by Novaspace, using blue and black acid-free mats, a 1" round top aluminum frame and non-glare 98% UV Plexiglas. Size of the piece is 35" x 29".
The print has been signed in pencil by the following nine astronauts, representing Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Skylab and Shuttle programs:
- Neil Armstrong
- Gene Cernan
- Charles "Pete" Conrad
- John Glenn
- Rick Hauck
- Jack Lousma
- James Lovell
- Wally Schirra
- Alan Shepard
Recently, a couple of these prints have sold for $3,500. One was unframed and the other framed with a number of scratches on the Plexiglas (eBay). This print has been stored in a temperature controlled environment sine I purchased it and is in absolutely perfect condition. I am asking $3,300, plus shipping (at actual cost). I will cover the cost of insurance. In addition, I would be willing to accept payment over 2 or 3 installments, to help ease the financial burden of one large payment.
