I have available quite a few signed pictures of the crews that have flown since Expedition 1. Also Mir pictures, etc.

As the header says, I have some six person crew pics, three person Soyuz crews and portraits. A mixed assortment...

I have mostly 4x6 and some 8x12 Russian printed pics and some 8x10 US printed pics. Some are the official crew pics, others are EVA pics, some are crew pics in front of the Soyuz trainer, etc.

If you can let me know what you are looking for hopefully I can help. As an example I already have numerous three person pics signed by Kotov's crew that will launch in the near future.

Many are in-persons or obtained from "staff personal" in Star City who I get them from.

As a basic guideline I would be looking for $30-$35 per signature (picture size would be taken into account) and I am sure y'all can do the math based on the number of folks in the pictures.

I also have quite a few Russian flown items that I am offering and they ALL were obtained in person here in Houston. Some are from Mir, the others from the ISS. I have all sorts of items from Penguin suits, EVA gloves, shirts, warm suits, wet suits, Sokol gloves, patches, family letters and even a flown Sharpee that happened to be in the pocket of a blue flight suit. I am still laughing at that one...

There is full documentation for ALL items (including the Sharpee!!!). If interested, let me know and I will see if I can help... Thanks Richard (Mercurypgm@aol.com).

I have received requests from numerous folks (about 20), but it seems I am not getting messages from all who have sent me e-mails.

I am not sure if the problem may lie with those sending me e-mails directly or by clicking on a link here on the site...

Give me some time (a day or two) to figure out what is what as I am as perplexed as much as some of y'all may be. I hate computers. Oh, one long time friend couldn't reach me on AOL and he called me this AM and that is the first I knew I had a problem. Since I recently got an iPhone 5 and using the same server AOL, I seem to be having numerous computer issues and not sure why. An example, Skype won't work... UGH.

I went through all my e-mails and responses were sent to all who wrote me. I have no idea why some did not receive responses but I do know from past experience that AOL does not always work when dealing with folks from overseas (both ways). This is especially true for folks in Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland. In any event I have sent followup e-mails to those who indicated they received no response.

Many seemed to want the same items such as EVA gloves and Sokol gloves and so I asked for feedback from those who sent me requests as it made no sense to me to sell of just the "choice" items from a set belonging to various cosmonauts. I asked for folks to send me feedback and ideas and then I would decide what to do after this past weekend. I will be sending out e-mails to all as what makes the most sense and that is to sell off an entire cosmonaut set so as not to break it up (some stated they would like to do that and buy all from cosmonaut XXX) and then I will break up one or two sets and sell items individually. That way, sets will not be broken up for some collectors, I will still own some sets for myself and one or two sets will be broken up and items will be priced and sold individually. Remember that not all sets are the same as different items were available from different cosmonauts. Anyway, I will be sending out a letter in the next few days as I decide what sets I want to offer, keep and breakup. This has become far more of a project than I originally anticipated, especially when you get an e-mail like "What you got"!!!

As far as pictures are concerned I am filling those orders and I only have one person left to contact and will do so as soon as I finish this post. Thanks for your understanding.

Richard, all the emails I am sending seem to bounce. Is there any other email address I can use that might work?

No idea why e-mails are bouncing. I have been waiting for some answers (other items) from very regular customers and I am not hearing from them and they are as regular as clock work. Who knows, I usually only get on cS about once a week so I don't see messages that folks post here. Oh, I have no other e-mail addy.

I am still trying to decide how to sell the flown items. Oh, selling normal Russian pictures are not a problem and I have sold quite a few. Anyway, the more I have thought about it, I really don't want to break up sets. There are MANY different items from different cosmonauts. I may have 25 items from one and five from another.

About 15 people only want EVA and Sokol gloves and selling the choice items makes no sense (besides I don't have 15 pairs of gloves). I saw Robert at the Expedition 34 briefing on Thursday at Space Center Houston and asked his opinion and he said to just offer individual items which is what I just said makes no sense to me as I don't want to be left with Kentavas(sp), shirts, underwear, shoes, socks, flight bags, jump suits, flight suits, and the list goes on...

Putting a set in auction makes some sense as then they can deal with descriptions and photographing the items (no, I am not going to photograph 750 or so items as one person asked for when I told him what I likely had). But that only costs everyone including me. One thing that really made me laugh and I am sure it was a typo as he later spelt it correctly in the same e-mail, but I do not have any Orlando gloves! Sorry but I had to share that one. At this point I needed to laugh or I would have cried, which is why I added that aside to this post...

PLEASE do not be mad but I really did not think this out so that everyone (as well as myself) could be satisfied. I know there is a solution but it still escapes me. I will send e-mails to everyone who wrote me and refer them to this posting. Sorry, I just do not know what to do.

Put the items on eBay separately? If someone wants a complete set, then they will bid accordingly.

Still not sure how to sell off the flown Russian items but figured I would start with an offering here as it is a small lot and all I have from this mission. Also since some overseas don't seem to be able to contact me by AOL I have created a yahoo account as well. Same Mercurypgm except @yahoo.com. I prefer y'all use the @AOL.com email but if you have trouble getting in touch, I have this secondary account now...

Expedition 9, Gennady Padalka...

  • A pair of flown Sokol gloves that are signed with the mission noted near the rings as well as the cloth gloves worn underneath them. The signatures and mission designation on the gloves are small and in no way detract and only provides excellent documentation.

  • Two patches removed from his Sokol suit. The Expedition 9 patch (Padalka and Fincke) that was stuck on by velcro and the TMA 4 patch (Fincke, Padalka and Kupiers) that was literally CUT off his Sokol suit with the back clearly showing that portion of the Sokol suit These are obviously unique and quite rare.

  • An unflown Expedition 9 silver Robbins that has been signed by Padalka and Fincke on the white strip that is on the back of the case, #18. This was not obtained from Padalka but from NASA.
The documentation is a photo of Padalka just after landing sitting in the usual chairs post landing where he has circled both patches which are clearly visible and on the photo writes that "I (my first name) has my two flight patches and one pair of Sokol gloves" with his signature and printed name.

I also have a photo of the two of us taken in Houston.

Price $4500. Thanks for considering...
