I am pleased to announce that Apollo 15 Insurance Covers from the personal collection Astronaut Al Worden are now being offered for the amazing low price of only $225 each. They were previously being offered at $475 per cover. This is a savings of $250 or approximately 53%.The reason behind this dramatic price reduction is that Al has decided that after all these years, its time to get these covers into the hands of appreciative collectors. To that end, he has decided to make the pricing as favorable as possible which as you can see, he certainly has. Each cover is numbered and hand signed on the flap as coming from Al's personal collection and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity on his personal stationary. There is no limit on the number of covers you may order. You'll never find better pricing on an authentic Apollo insurance cover coming directly from the astronaut himself so take advantage of this great opportunity while supplies last. To order or if questions, please contact me at steve@farthestreaches.com. Thanks to all for your continued support! ------------------ Steve Hankow Farthest Reaches |

That's less than Dave Scott's base signing fee, on a vintage, relatively rare item with an interesting history behind it, signed by the whole crew. Nice! |

Steve, yep, I'm here. The demand for these covers at this price is keeping me very busy and am trying hard to respond to the volume of emails. To that end, I have just responded to your email from this morning. You're good to go. As a result of the demand for these covers at this price, am waiting for an additional supply from Al that is on its way at this time. It's a heck of a deal for an authentic insurance cover coming from an astronauts personal collection. Thanks for your order... |

The demand for these insurance covers has been amazing. The covers I now have on hand as well as those that are on their way to me from Col. Worden, scheduled for a late week delivery, are all spoken for by your processed or pending (payment not yet received) orders. For those of you still wishing to place initial or additional orders , they are being taken at this time against the third round of covers I expect to be receiving. To be clear, not the covers I'll be receiving later this week but following thereafter. The price will remain the same and I expect to have an ETA to announce for that third round within the next few days, so people placing orders will know when they might expect to receive their purchase. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have placed and paid for your order, you may assume that there IS a cover(s) being reserved for you unless I have somehow miscalculated in which case I will contact you personally (though this is not something I anticipate). I can not hold unprocessed orders for long however, so unless I have made specific arrangements with you, need to be able to process your order by this coming weekend. Covers freed up in this manner will be made available to the next person on the list in the order of their payment being received. I encourage anyone out there who has not yet placed an order but would like to, to email me at your earliest convenience as these Apollo 15 insurance covers are being sold on a first come, first serve basis. I will continue to take orders until the last cover is sold but at this rate things are moving pretty quickly. Col. Worden has specifically asked me to thank you all for your support of this project as he was overwhelmed by the positive response. Oh, and of course I'd be remiss to not offer my thanks as well and for your many years of supporting Farthest Reaches (www.farthestreaches.com)... |

Please read the above carefully as I'm afraid I've confused some of you. The covers are STILL available, but temporarily out of stock. More are coming. You are not too late if interested in a cover(s), but need to order and complete payment to guarantee it is reserved for you. I expect to have a good supply but also expect them to move quickly. I look forward to hearing from anyone interested... |

Quite a number of covers were mailed out this weekend and many more will go out on Tuesday so most of you will be receiving your orders very shortly.I am waiting for another group of covers that should be coming my way from Col. Worden with a week or so. A number of you will receive your orders from that group so stand by. For those of you wishing to place an order for one or more covers, please call or email (steve@farthestreaches.com). My phone numbers are on the bottom of my home page. I will continue to accept orders until Col. Worden's covers are sold out. This a great opportunity to obtain an insurance cover directly from the astronaut at a fraction of the usual price. Thanks to all for your continued support. |

I'm getting a number of inquires regarding delivery times, so thought I'd provide this update. Fifty insurance cover orders were mailed out this morning for a Thursday delivery if you're within the US, a bit longer to International destinations. I'm expecting additional covers VERY shortly and will resume shipping at that time. Orders are still being taken, so call or email using information found within this thread if you'd like to obtain an Apollo 15 Insurance cover from Col. Worden's personal collection. Thanks as always... |

Just an update on Col. Worden's Insurance covers. - All paid orders thus far will be filled so if you haven't received your cover yet, not to worry. I'm waiting for additional covers to replenish my supply and expect some to arrive any day now, with others to follow, so please be patient and you will receive your cover(s) as soon as I have them in hand.
- There are STILL COVERS AVAILABLE so if you haven't ordered or want additional covers, don't hesitate to contact me. They will be offered until Col. Worden's last cover is sold. Cover orders received with payment will be fulfilled as soon as I have more covers in hand and in the order payment is received.
This continues to be a wonderful opportunity to obtain an official Apollo Insurance Cover with iron clad provenance from the astronaut himself so don't miss the opportunity yours while supplies last. Thanks to all for your patience and ongoing support. |

My A15 cover, #294, came in childproof/adultproof/postofficeproof packaging.I know that we pay a little extra for packaging but you are assured that your cover will arrive damage free. I am 100% satisfied. |

Thanks for your kind words about my childproof/adult proof'/post office proof packaging. I might need to use that on my site (says smiling). I've always been a "monster" about overpacking. Nothing ticks me off more as a dealer OR collector than receiving an item that has been damaged by the postal authorities because of inadequate packaging. You deserve to get what you pay for and that means receiving it in the same condition as it was when it left my hands. We all know how important condition is when it comes to our hobby. Needless to say, it takes me a bit longer to package in order to make this happen but I honestly can't remember the last time the contents of my packaging was reported damaged upon arrival, so by my take that makes it well worth the effort. |

Hang on David. It will be arriving very soon. Your order came in around mid May and I've been shipping in the order requests were received. In between, when I run out of covers, must wait for Col. Worden to replenish my supply. That being said, will email you off list later this evening when I have my records in front of me and give you the status of your order, ok? |

Just a heads up. I've just fulfilled another 30 orders for Apollo 15 Insurance covers, so a number of you will be receiving yours within a matter of days. I am currently waiting for additional covers from Col. Worden which I expect to see sometime next week. Additional orders received will be processed at that time. Meantime, it's not too late to order a cover(s) if you haven't already. The supply is beginning to dwindle and when they're gone, they're gone but as of now, orders are still being taken. Col. Worden asked that I extend my thanks to everyone who has taken advantage of this offer. He's very pleased to see these covers being put into the hands of collectors who will appreciate them and keep the "dream alive". |

I have just heard from Col. Worden that another group of covers are on their way to me at this time. All of you who have ordered but have not yet received your covers WILL have your orders fulfilled from this new "batch." We are quickly approaching the end of the supply though orders are still being taken from anyone wanting to obtain one or more. At this point there are still NO LIMITS on the number you may order. The reaction to these covers has been quite positive to say the least and this may be one of the only times you'll receive a chance to purchase an official crew signed Apollo Insurance cover at a price that isn't much more than the cost of a Dave Scott autograph alone. I've already seen these on Ebay which doesn't surprise me but know that they are still available through Farthest Reaches which is essentially the same as being obtained directly from Col. Worden for only $225 each. Thanks to all for your continued support and Col. Worden asked that I mention his thanks to you all as well! |

Latest update is that I'm expecting those covers mentioned above any minute now. Col. Worden has been very busy though I now know that they were shipped my way last week. So that considered, I will be shipping out the next 50 covers as soon as I have them in hand.Following the fulfillment of current orders, there are probably only about 50 covers left available give or take a few after exhausting those that are on their way. My thanks and appreciation for your orders and the patience to all who have received theirs and those who are still waiting. I promise EVERYONE who has orders outstanding will soon be taken care of. I am still accepting orders for these Insurance Covers and will, until they are sold out which is fast approaching so if interested, now would be a great time to contact me. I trust those of you who have received yours are pleased and once again, please accept the thanks of Col. Worden for your support of his offer. |
