I am putting together some space and science kits for schools and clubs so in order to raise the finance for this I will be selling some of my personal collection — if anyone would like anything from the list just drop me an email. Scans available upon request. - Neil Armstrong Autograph - Apollo 11 Portrait, late 80s/early 90s style (kindly confirmed by Steve Zarelli). The piece is boldy signed by Armstrong and has plenty of room to add Collins and Aldrin to complete the set - $4500 + P&P
- Apollo 15 Robbins Medallion (Numbered #201). This medal is unflown but would still be an excellent addition to a collection. I'm not 100% sure about this (people?), but apparently a small ingot of silver from the Spanish 1715 Plate Fleet wrecks was flown into space on the Apollo 15 mission and was later cast into the unflown medals (numbers 128 to 304). - $1750 + P&P
- Sally Ride Autographed 8x10 Portrait - Signed in blue ink over the American flag. - $100 + P&P
- John Glenn Portrait, inscribed and signed in lower margin, 8x10. Plus a signed letter (which has not been folded) on NASA letterhead, dated Feb. 13, 1963, indicating that he is enclosing a signed photo plus information on NASA for the Boy Scouts. In the letter Glenn notes: If we had to pick the one most important thing that scouting teaches, I think we would find it in the first part of the Scout Oath "On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country." Can we imagine what a wonderful world this would be if all men lived with that type of honor! (this is actually two autographs but they come as a pair) - $175 + P&P
- Donald K. ("Deke") Slayton signature on NASA letterhead (which has not been folded), dated April 11, 1963. Includes a note about request for his autograph. - $100 + P&P
- Scott Carpenter signature on NASA letterhead (which has not been folded), he signs it as a Mercury Astronaut. - $100 + P&P
- Walter M. Schirra, Jr. on NASA letterhead (which has not been folded). Also signed as Mercury Astronaut. - $100 + P&P

Is there any documented astronaut provenance with the Robbins? Any photos? If not, and the condition is average, then the price might be over-ambitious. |
