The Aldrin is SOLD.

I am offering an Apollo 15 "S" numbered glossy in excellent condition. It is the picture of the crew in the rover. It is not signed, but makes a nice addition to ones collection.

$40 plus $5 domestic shipping or $10 international shipping.

I am adding 2 more Red "S" number glossies for sale and some others from Apollo 15, Apollo 16, and Apollo 17.

A beautiful glossy showing the Apollo 11 LM on the surface (I assume it is Aldrin as I believe Armstrong joined him a few moments later, yes? no?) getting ready to unfurl the flag. $75.

Also a launch picture that can only be described as spectacular of the launch of Apollo 5 (yes Apollo 5). $40.

I recently found Red "S" glossies of Apollo 15, Apollo 16 and Apollo 17 in my storage facility. About 150+ from each mission. If interested please send me an e-mail and we can discuss. Not sure what is the best way to sell these, so I am open to suggestions. Perhaps in lots of 5 per mission or a bulk sale. Not sure. Thanks.

The Apollo 11 has been SOLD. I am 99% certain the Apollo 5 is SOLD. (typed A6 previously by error, a typo and corrected, sorry)...The A5 has been SOLD)....

Have had three folks contact me to buy the other crews I mentioned in bulk. I will decide in the AM as to what makes the most sense. Off to bed and will sleep on it. Part of me says, help numerous collectors, the other part of me says to sell them to some dealers and be done with it. The dealers are the ones who stepped up buy.

Who knows.

Oh, having lots of problems with my Step-Father with regards to insurance companies, VA, Medicare, Medicaid, doctors, rehab folks, etc, etc. Different answers from everyone I have talked to over the last five days. No way to treat an 88 year old Combat Vet from the Pacific in WW2 (USS Honolulu). Unreal!

This is an update on the above postings. I have received 7 responses about the items.

Some want specific numbers which they have provided, some want me to provide numbers of ALL the items, some want scans of ALL the items, some want me to cherry pick out items,

Some want to buy the lots unseen, etc, etc. With the Regency Superior auction today and a party for former JSC director Mike Coats this evening, I will ponder further on what to do. I also went to my storage facility this morning and found some other mission pictures. Anyway, I will contact all the folks who expressed interest and if others have interest please contact me as I will likely take the weekend to make a decision.

I hope y'all understand, but what seemed to be a simple post has turned into a potential nightmare. Oh well...

After going through lots of pictures this AM and receiving various comments/requests this is what I have decided...

I will list some of the top items separately as I feel they are worth more than if I put them in a bulk lot.

I will then offer lots of 25 or 50 from the following missions: Apollo 13, Apollo 15, Apollo 16 as I have a sufficient quantity to offer them in that fashion (within reason). I am listing them in lots of 25 or 50 as many images taken on the Moon or from orbit were done in rapid succession so there are many similar images and I don't want someone to buy a bulk lot and end up with 25 pictures of the Moon that are the size of a quarter.

While there is great variety of images and many nice closeups on the surface and from orbit, this makes the most sense to me and I think will satisfy my clients satisfactorily. The price on the packages are 25 for $750. or 50 for $1500. Buying more than one lot is okay, but please be aware that you might end up with similar type images. To a dealer that may not matter, but I want to try and provide dealers and collectors a nice assortment.

I hope the above makes sense and I will CC those later today who wrote me over the last 24 or so hours. If anyone has a better idea, let me know, but this seems the logical route to take. Whatever does not sell, I will wholesale out the remainder after a month or so.

I just came across several boxes of NASA Apollo 10 and Apollo 17 B/W pictures. Many are spoken for, but I should be able to fill some more orders. I also still have color red "S" numbered glossies from Apollo 13, Apollo 15 and Apollo 16. Sold a bunch, but still have more. As I go through boxes I keep finding more stuff...

With regards to the Red "S" # glossy's I probably have enough to make 2 more 25 picture sets. If one ordered both sets there would be somewhat similar pictures so I would not recommend that. I only have orbit pics from Apollo 13 and Apollo 15 left. I had many repeat orders and I thank those who ordered. With the proceeds I can now purchase a coin for my coin collection so it was a win win situation. One coins sure takes up less space than 1000 photos!!!! LOL. Thanks to all...

GREAT job with the photos! But instead of the coin, how about a copy of Quicken instead?
