Congratulations to the buyer. I myself do not have a mint like new condition copy. In my book I collected some 50 signatures mainly when crossing terrific lake Baikal by boat during 10th ASE-Congress in 1994.By the way: The manuscript for a catalogue on pioneer rocket mail till 2nd World War and space mail has already by finished. It should be available this summer. |

Florian, thank you for the warm wording. In Berlin I shall give an insight on the research I did and on some results. With regards to the place I shall start with 1935 Scharmuetzelsee rocket flights. USA rocket flights before 1945 will follow. Last but not least the presentation will deal with latest space mail from ISS.See you in Berlin from 12. to 14.04.2013. |

Walter, you should perhaps add a day to your visit and visit Scharmützelsee (a lake), about an hour's drive from Berlin. Maybe there are traces to be found? |

Juergen, I already asked local newspapers and tourist office at Fuerstenwalde / Spree for information on these rocket mail flights. In 1935 only Nazi newspapers were allowed. They only reported about such events, if they were organized in accordance with government or a Nazi organisation. Thus the lack of any newspaper record does not mean anything. |
