I did several private signings with Pete Conrad during the 90's. I am offering Red "S" number signed pictures of the Earth taken while he was on his Skylab mission. Each picture is different and I will offer them for $65 each.

I also have close up pictures taken during his spacewalk and if your preference is close ups of (for lack of a better word) nuts, bolts, extreme inches or feet of the outside of Skylab (really hard to describe them) but in any event they would be $50 each.

I can provide a photo (by e-mail) of Conrad sitting at a table with lots of photos spread out all over the table.

For a moonwalker's signature on images of this nature are a steal... So steal them!

A limit of five different pictures per person of EACH type (Earth or closeups), so a maximum of 10 all together.

Please add $5 for shipping. If insurance is requested, then add another $5.

One funny thing that occurred during this session is we sat there for about seven hours without a break and then we decided it was time to go to the little boys room. As we were standing there, I jokingly asked Pete if he would "pee in a cup" as I was sure I get a very good price for some moonwalker's urine on eBay. He laughed and said "I think that is where I will have to draw the line, but ask XXXXXXX and I am sure for the right price, he would be glad to do it." Y'all can fill in the XXXXXXX. Every time I think of that I smile and know that Pete is up there laughing as well...

One last thing is he signed his T-38 jacket (which I purchased) on the inside for me with a very nice inscription. After that I obtained the signatures of all those who flew with him on this jacket. Each wrote nice comments about Pete and I truly treasure this unique item. Alan Bean misspelled a word "sleves" by leaving out the second "e" and when Dick Gordon caught the error, he added the "e" and said "it seems I am always covering Alan's butt!" I did change one word in that quote and I am sure y'all can figure out which one I cleaned up... (mercurypgm@aol.com)

Just finished answering lots of e-mails...

Just realized I better check my post to see if anyone had posted a request on the thread. Yup, so I will e-mail them now.

Thanks for all the orders. Keep them coming and look for other interesting items in the near future.

Thanks to all who purchased some of these and those who have paid had their items mailed this morning. Hope y'all will be pleased.

I am still waiting for payment from some who "ordered" so PLEASE, if you are still interested let me know. I did send out reminder notices.

I still have more so will be glad to accept more orders.

Thanks for the great response and if I missed responding to anyone, please write again. 100 e-mails in 72 hours on numerous items I have listed on cS is enough to drive one nuts! Add in partying with some of the cosmonauts who are in town and I am fried.

A number of people bought the limit of 10 per person and with other orders I am beginning to run low. So if you want any of these, please get in touch.

All photos that have been paid for have been mailed. Spent much of the morning at the PO mailing all sorts of items.

I know I owe some scans to a few folks and I will get them out to you in a couple of days. Please be patient. Thanks.

Oh, still have some for sale...

I have ONE "S" number glossy that shows part of Skylab with the area that Pete identified and signed it "Missing Solar Array — Charles Conrad."

The price for this one image is $150, a steal, especially with the quote.

Because of that missing array, Skylab was almost lost, but it took only a few weeks to solve the problem and find a solution. Don't let this item get away. First buyer takes it...

Still have some other Conrad signed Skylab pictures, so contact me if interested.
