I came across while cleaning nine NASA glossies signed by Robert Crippen that I have for sale. They are a variety of images (rollout to launch to landing), but I never completed them due to Young's signing fees.

They are really nice images. If anyone is interested $30 each, plus domestic shipping of $5, international shipping $10.

Can provide scans or a description.(mercurypgm@aol.com)

I have received 8 requests for info on the Crippen signed photos.

Assuming that most are buyers (several want up to four images), I need too, at this time stop taking requests.

All prospective buyers received a list of what I have (within a few minutes of each other), so I am now waiting for them to respond to my e-mails. Therefore I think it is best that I do not accept any more requests till I hear back those already notified.

One exception: If you want Crippen in his OSS NASA litho, I do have extras.

Thanks for your understanding and if I have any extras, I will post them here.

Just to let you know, I received 8 enquires about the STS-1 Crippen signed NASA glossies and then had to cut off the "thread". At that point I figured I would sell out. I then sent out an e-mail to all who had sent in requests and within ten minutes or so I had 4-5 responses. I answered them in order and all the STS-1 NASA glossies I had (and even a few STS-7) were SOLD. I want to thank all who bought. To those who I could not supply, I am truly sorry.

The only items I have left for sale are 5 signed Space Shot Cards STS-1 rollout, launch and landing as well as one STS-7 picture of the payload bay and one STS 41-C showing the SMM Satelitte in capture. I will take $20 each or $75 for the lot of 5 Space Shot Cards). I also have Crippen's official NASA OSS litho (I have a number of and they are still $30 each). I never know what I may find in storage so if I come across any more signed Crippen items I will post them.

I likely have some Crippen's in the packages of shuttle photos I offered previously, but way too many images to look through. Just to let you know, I sold quite a few of those group "packages" so check out that thread if you might be interested in lots of 10, 25, 50, 100, shuttle images. Thanks Richard...

The signed Space Shot Cards have been sold. All I have left are Crippen's formal NASA OSS lithos.

Found two more Crippen items...
  • A NASA Landing glossy. $30 plus shipping.

  • A 25th anniversary T-Shirt that was given out at the JSC when Young and Crippen appeared to celebrate the event. It has a small STS-1 printed patch in the upper left front of the T-shirt and on the back is a FULL sized STS-1 printed patch taking up most of the back of the shirt. It is signed on the back by Crippen who freely signed after the speeches, but Young was driven in by a golf cart, spoke and then left. The price is $30 plus shipping. It is XXL in size and is white in color.
Since my birthday is 4/12 there is always a party to go to in Houston as Gagarin flew on my 10th birthday and STS-1 flew on my 30th birthday.
