I would like to add to my collection a hardback, signed copy of "The Last Man on the Moon", by Eugene Cernan. So if you have one please let me know.

I prefer one that is just signed (not inscribed) and at a reasonable price. The ones on eBay are a bit pricey for me. Thank you.

If you write a polite letter and include return postage, Gene Cernan will inscribe/personalize a hardcover copy TO YOU at NO cost [see Resources tab to the left for his address on this one-per-person offer]. He routinely gets $300 per signature at shows...

If you need a US person to send him a copy to be then mailed back to you let me know and I'll try - he inscribed one to me last year.

I did send my copy of the book last year (in November, if I am not mistaken). There was a letter and some cash included (I am in Canada, so I put US dollars - more than the shipping costs).

I have got nothing back.

UPDATE: Got the book today (Jan 21, 2013) - personalized and nicely inscribed. Thank you Mr. Cernan!

Thank you all for the replies. I think I'm going to send one for Mr. Cernan to sign. It seems the cheapest option.

Thanks to all.

I sent my book to Captain Cernan last summer, got it back in a couple of weeks. With the holidays and a number of Apollo 17 celebrations occurring in November and December, I wouldn't worry about not receiving your book back yet.

All times are CT (US)
