I am interested in obtaining one of the blue hardbound editions of NASA SP-4001 Project Mercury: A Chronology. I have been searching for a copy for a couple of years in order to fill the void in my collection of the hardbound editions of the NASA program histories.I recognize that the official NASA issued blue hardbound edition of SP-4001 is difficult to come by, even more so than the Gemini (SP-4002) and four-volume Apollo (SP-4009) program chronologies.
I am aware that a hardbound copy of SP-4001 was recently sold by RR Auction, but I have never seen another copy before or since. I know that other copies exist, so I was hoping maybe a fellow cS member might be able to step forward and offer some help?
If there are any cS members out there that have the blue hardbound edition of SP-4001 and perhaps have a willingness to sell his/her copy, please contact me. And just to be clear, I am not looking to buy an ex-library hardbound edition, only the NASA issued blue hardbound edition. Thank you for any help you can offer.
