I did a private signing with Mitchell about 10-15 years ago. I am offering these in lots of FIVE only, but at the price I am selling them, one can easily afford to purchase FIVE of them. They are black and white NASA photos with "S" numbers that were taken on the surface of the Moon. They are not a true glossy photo per say (hard to describe) but sort of a mild glossy finish print. I am sure someone knows the correct term.

Price: $135 for FIVE pictures! That is a bargain. I can only provide a sample scan but if you are not pleased, I will pay your return postage. How's that? Please add $5 for domestic postage, $10 for international postage. Multiple orders of FIVE are okay!

That would be a semi-gloss print. I think the majority of vintage B&W EVA prints released out of MSC during Apollo were on this paper. They are actually quite nice... cuts down on the glare.

Thanks for the clarification on the type of photo. Yes, that would describe them correctly. About 20 years ago NASA was clearing out lots of old photos to make room for shuttle pictures. I got a call asking me if I would be interested in picking up about 40 boxes of old photos or they would be tossed...I was down at the JSC in about 20 minutes and had to load my car up three times. Government waste, ya got to love it!

Paying many astronauts when I did, allows me to make these offers...

All who have requested scans should have them as of now. Those who have already paid will have their items sent out on Monday, Dec. 31. Likewise with those who pay before I go to the PO for my weekly jaunt.

Still have more Apollo 14 packages...

Also found some Red "S" pictures taken from orbit signed by Mitchell. I will list info when I sort them out.

By tomorrow I should be totally caught up on everything. Thank God. Keep getting swamped everyday and it is especially nice to hear from some old friends whom I haven't heard from in years since Astro-Auction shut down.

For the moment I will have to stop taking orders for the Mitchell signed moon pictures. In one box that held a variety of Mitchell B/W Moon pictures have now sold out.

Somewhere I have more of these, but I have not been able to locate the other photograph sized boxes that contain those images as well as other Mitchell signed items. I have looked high and low, and all I can think of is my other two boxes of Mitchell's autographs are in one of about 60 large boxes of items (their should be no space items in them, but) that got stored when Hurricane Ike destroyed the brick on the side of my house (I live in a townhouse and I am and end unit).

Half my house had to be rebuilt, due to damp sheetrock, so lots of items got packaged up by a moving company and returned four months later following the reconstruction (thank God for insurance). Half of those large boxes still remain sealed in one of my bedrooms. Unpacking records, toys, clothing that is too small, Star Trek plates, recent comics, etc, etc have not been on my list of things to do.

Anyway, I am glad that I was able to sell about 100 pics before I realized that my other two boxes are no where to be found and nearly all who sent requests got their orders filled. (I sold about 100 of them.)

Will still keep looking (they may be in my storage facility) and I know as soon as I make this post, I will find them. Isn't that always the way? If I find those boxes of Mitchell's autographs, I will post a message that I have more for sale. The good thing is I found lots of goodies that I forgot I had (and will put them up for sale as time permits) so some good came out of it.
