For sale: - Original Apollo 9 Final Flight Plan Revision
I picked up this original Apollo 9 final flight plan revision in late Spring of 2004 from, I believe, Lunar Legacies. It's an original, labeled 'Change A to the Apollo 9 Final Flight Plan', dated February 20, 1969. The pages are not consecutively numbered, but it measures approximately 0.25" thick and contains many lists, charts, and diagrams. Minor crease on the bottom right-hand corner of the first several pages. Very light rust on staple, and six light, pockmark-style discolorations on the cover. In otherwise superb condition. With the entire Apollo 9 crew scheduled for Spacefest V this spring, it might be a fun thing to have them all sign! Asking $150, with shipping additional, and to be influenced based on your location and shipping preferences. - Original Apollo 11 Press Kit
I bought this original Apollo 11 Press Kit from Bill Ayrey of spacesuit manufacturer ILC Dover in late July of 1999. He in turn had obtained it from someone else associated with Apollo. If you like, I can contact Bill and determine the exact history of ownership. It arrived sealed in plastic, has never been opened, and has spent its life with me in a drawer. It measures about half an inch thick and I'd love to tell you what's in it, but as I say it's still sealed. Excellent condition. Asking $150, with shipping additional, and to be influenced based on your location and shipping preferences. - Pete Conrad's Apollo 12 Final Flight Plan Revision, Signed by Entire Crew
Offering my last of Pete Conrad's Apollo 12 Flight Plans. On January 30th of 1997, I bought three separate sets of original Apollo 12 plans from Pete via Odyssey Group. One was a Final Flight Plan, the second was a Lunar Surface Operations Plan, while the third was a Revision to the Final. I sold the first two some years back and this one is all that's left. It is not flown and was used by Pete in training. This particular one is entitled 'Revision A to the Apollo 12 Final Flight Plan' and is dated October 30, 1969. It is approximately 3/8" thick and is loaded with MANY fold-out charts and tables. Bill Allen of Odyssey Group had it signed for me by Pete, in Bill's presence, on Saturday, February 1st of 1997, prior to shipment. Then on January 26, 2002, Al Bean and Dick Gordon both signed it for me, in person, at the Sims & Hankow autograph show in Houston, Texas. While in my hands the Plan has been stored in a plastic bag, within a box, and does not see the light of day. All signatures are crisp and vibrant. All three members of the crew inscribed their crew position. Conrad and Bean both added the mission start and end dates. Asking $1,000, with shipping additional, and to be influenced based on your location and shipping preferences. I will also include a color photocopy of the original bill of sale from Odyssey Group, along with a letter from me to indicate provenance. Please contact me via e-mail with any additional questions, or if you require more pictures. |
