I am looking to buy some flown medallions. I need these two to complete my MFA/SFA collection: - Project Apollo 30th Anniversary with Saturn V rocket launch - the silver version.
- STS-114 Team Award
Some others I'd be interested: - Apollo 8/Alcoa 50 Years of Research.
- National Space Club medallion
- Spacelab 1
- Apollo 11 25th

Just to note - I too (as I am sure other are) looking for many of these. Good luck in finding a relatively limited grouping. It never hurts to ask (and this is the right place!).

There are 3 versions of the the Saturn V Launch Tower medallions. The were made of Aluminum, Bronze and Silver. The silver being the rarest. If you have the 1 made of silver I am most definitely interested. Email me |

The National Space Club medal on eBay hit nearly $450! Any reason why? I own one myself but never thought it to be all that valuable or desirable. Is it very rare, or was the Slayton provenance the cause for the bidding? |
