If interested, I'm entertaining offers of $450 or more on the pictured A11 beta cloth. This is one of the patches with a 10" diameter insignia. Seldom available for sale, these are probably the rarest of the Apollo-related beta patches.

Overall it averages about 20.5" x 18.5". It's therefore not a perfect square but, if desired, can easily be cut to be. There is some mild creasing. I've included a photo with a regular 4" Apollo 11 embroidered patch to provide a better sense of scale.

Shipping is extra. I will ship the item rolled in a tube mailer.

If interested, please write directly to my email address.

This is a last call for anyone who wishes to place an offer on this patch (per the particulars above). I'll take offers until noon (PST) on Monday (Dec. 10th).

Can you post what such large beta cloth patches were used for?

There's very little information available about how these were used and distributed. Chris (spaced out) mentions them a little on his crew patches website.

The size is typical of what would be a back patch though there's nothing apparently documented of NASA staff/technicians wearing them. It is possible too that there was a very limited run of them just in order to be used as souvenirs and primarily distributed among certain of the staff of the screen printer in Coventry, RI who printed the beta patches for NASA.

I've got one of these as well. They make very nice presentations and are plenty big enough for inscribed autographs:
