I have this Buzz Aldrin autograph obtained in person during his 2004 visit to Dublin.

Very reasonably priced... listed on eBay. Thanks.

Can anyone offer advice on the value of this item. Someone asked me what was the "best" I could do on this piece, but added the "B" in Buzz looks a little different with the loop in the letter "b."

This item is 110 % authentic — signed at Dublin in 2004... but not perhaps a signed 10x8 photograph.

Given that Buzz was charging £280.00 at Autographica I feel this item represents a real saving! I suppose I could give it away?

Unfortunately the item is worth what someone is willing to pay. That being said I do not think your price is out of line. Be aware however that the price varies widely. I have bought a signed cover for $35 and a a signed WSS for $100. I have bought several of his signed books for $25-$50. If someone just wants his autograph they can buy a cheap copy of one of his books and remove the signature page.(horrors I know)

People pay his high price at autograph shows because they want something specific signed or they want it signed because they have met him. Your item has meaning for you, but not for someone else.

Thank you, for your valued opinion.

I realise that there are many signed books available. But many good and bad forgeries out there on ebay too.

All times are CT (US)
