Since I've had a number of requests, I'll be selling some of my Mach 25 patch replicas.

These are reproductions, which are digitized and embroidered by me. Each patch has an iron-on plastic backing. Because I designed them to be very close to the originals, I've embedded a tiny tag inside the backing labeling them as reproductions, and also included a production number (mainly so I can keep track of them).

Price will be $10, which covers the cost of the materials and the ~1 hour production time for each patch (Currently we don't have a commercial embroidery machine, so we're limited to making one at a time and manually changing out thread colors).

I also have four patches with minor differences (mainly in the border and orbiter) from before I finalized the design. These will be $8 and first-come-first-serve. I have pictures here, just ask for the number.

**Update**
1, 4, 5, and 6 are gone

Shipping in the US for 10 or less patches will be $2, and I can take either Paypal, check, or credit cards over the phone (US only).

Email me for more details — Because these are made-on-order, I don't want payment until I have them completed.

I spent a few hours today making 5 more, and I'm up to #12, although I'm temporarily out of dark blue thread until Wednesday or Thursday.

So far I have up to #22 reserved, and #4 and #6 are still available at the $8 price.

Because of the time it takes to make each patch, I'm probably only going to be able to make up to 30 or 35. However I'd consider more (if time permitted) if afterwards, there's still anyone particularly interested in one. The reason I started work on these was because I was disappointed in the currently available reproductions, so I can definitely understand.

I have two more reduced price patches. These didn't pass quality control.

The first one, #32, has a messy border. For some reason, the blue embroidered incorrectly. I picked out most of the blue, although it left the area looking sort of messy.

On the second one, #31, the red vector didn't close completely, probably become of a thread break.

These will be 50% off: $5 each, first come first serve.

**Edit**
Both #31 and #32 are gone, however I still have materials and free time to run more new ones.

Sir, I have to admit, I am quite thrilled to have read your posts in this particular thread. I have been attempting to locate a Mach 25 patch for some time now, and have had no such luck. To see however that a fellow space enthusiast has decided to reproduce them is quite exciting! I would defiantly be interested in one myself, however don't know how to get a hold of you and place an order. I would like to obtain one by Halloween if possible. Please do let me know if that is feasible and how I can get a hold of you.

For those of you interested in these, I have two of his patches (to go along with my original mach 25). One is from the first 4 that were prototypes. The other is from the production run (although he makes them all individually). I think it's #23, if memory serves.

While they are not the originals, they are very good alternatives. He has reproduced the original fairly well. Considering the current going price for an original (if you can find one) is $300-400, these are a great deal for the price.

I will also say he is a great guy to deal with. I helped him with the first few he made and I was not disappointed in either him or the patches.

You can contact me by my email:

How many would you like? Right now I have one made, and I can also make more as I still have some materials.

If you want to do an astronaut flight suit costume/replica, I also have some authentic US Flag patches. My stock on those is running low though (they're authentic from AB Emblems, rather than home made. For some reason, AB Emblems doesn't sell them through their online store). Those are $6 each. Also for the NASA meatball, just pick up one for $3 from AB Emblems or eBay. You'll want the 3" version.

All times are CT (US)
