This certificate was issued by NASA, as part of it's Space Flight Awareness Program, to commemorate the flight of Discovery to the Mir Space Station on STS-91 and has a flown Shuttle-Mir flag attached. The certificate states that: "This flag commemorating the Phase 1 Program was flown to the Mir Space Station aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery on mission STS-91, launched June 2, landed June 12, 1998."

The certificate is unpersonalized - it does not have anyone's name printed on it. Very few unpersonalized certificates have been available for sale, and this one is in MINT condition.

Earlier this year a similar flag and certificate, which was personalized, was sold at a Regency Superior auction for $192.00. I'm asking $145.00.

David, I was waiting to hear from another collector before sending you a reply. That being said if you would have been willing to buy it at the asking price, which is a very fair price, instead of asking me to sell it for less and with free shipping I would have sold it to you since you were the first to reply to the posting.

As it turns out the other collector bought it at the asking price plus shipping.
