I have for sale a lunar surface flown flag of South Carolina. It was flown to the surface by Charlie Duke in the Apollo 16 Lunar Module Orion where it remained for just under three days between April 21-24, 1972.

This flag comes directly from Charlie Duke who includes his iron clad certificate of authenticity that will never be questioned. Lunar surface flown flags or surface flown items of every kind are becoming harder and more expensive to come by at any reasonable price.

This one is reasonably marked at a flat $4,995 with no buyers premium as you’d find if this was an auction house purchase.

This flag has not yet been posted to my site but will be shortly. I'm giving the Yahoo and collectSPACE readers the heads up first. Please email off list if interested or if questions. Thanks as always for your continued support.

The South Carolina flag I emailed you about a few days ago has now been sold BUT I do have four of Charlie Duke's few remaining surface flown state flags still available and priced at the same $4995 ea.

They will be sent to you safely (not glued) affixed onto one of two different presentation types of your choice. Each flag is hand signed and comes with an additional hand signed certificate from Charles Duke, Apollo 16, LMP. stating that he carried it to the moon's surface in the Lunar Module Orion where it remained for almost 3 full days!

The flags available are Georgia, Kansas, South Carolina (last one) and North Carolina.

This is a great opportunity to purchase an unquestionably authentic lunar surface flown artifact directly from the astronaut that flew it at a price that doesn't necessitate taking out a second mortgage on your house.

These flags are NOT YET POSTED on my Farthest Reaches website so if interested, please email me at steve@farthestreaches.com to ask questions or to place an order. When they're gone, they're gone so please don't hesitate if interested.

Thanks to all for your continued support!!

All times are CT (US)
