I purchased several vintage Apollo photos on thick glossy photo paper signed by Aldrin. They were all in decades-old frames. This preserved them nicely- they don’t have a scratch on them, and the images and writing are very sharp and clear. However, when I removed them I found that the framer had used masking tape on one side of the backs to hold them in place. I VERY carefully trimmed that tape off the edges. The tape is still on the back, and while it does not affect the fronts at all, I am pricing these lower than what similar photos have sold for recently (and of course for less than half what Aldrin now charges).

If the original buyer ever doubts an item’s authenticity and any one of the hundreds of UACC Registered Dealers agrees in writing after analyzing the item in person, I will refund the full price, including shipping and handling, as long as the item is in its original condition and the buyer retains the receipt I will provide.
