Honor the historic success of NASA's Mercury, Gemini and Apollo space programs through a collage of mankind's journey to step foot on the moon with the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation's Apollo 40th Anniversary limited-edition, autographed "Moontage" print.

The prints are signed by an American Hero representing each program - John Glenn (Mercury), James McDivitt (Gemini) and James Lovell (Apollo) and Buzz Aldrin (Apollo moon landing).

Building upon the Mercury, Gemini and early Apollo flights, the world watched on July 20, 1969 when the Apollo 11 crew landed on the moon's surface with less than 30 seconds worth of fuel left in the Lunar Module, to take that famous leap for mankind.

Autographed exclusively for the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, the prints are limited to 50 in each available size: 8"x10" and 12"x15". Each Moontage is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

This looks amazing. I have been patiently holding off on buying a 40th Anniversary artifact. This is the one for me and the order is away.

I urge collectors to take a look on the ASF site.

While I have never been a fan of montage prints, I can't help but be a little disappointed this is in B&W, not color...since all of these images exist in color. I also don't think B&W lends itself well to a montage. Color is much more eye-catching.

I think the B&W looks fine since it pertains to the 40th anniversary of Apollo 11. If the print had been issued in color, Aldrin's boot print, which covers around 60%, would still seem to be in B&W due to the color of the lunar surface. I think having a color section on each side would separate the overall composition and theme.

Just my two cents!

I don't know if this was posted previously, but the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation is offering new 40th anniversary prints signed by Aldrin, McDivitt, Glenn, and Lovell.
