The Museum of Flight in Seattle and the National Association of Rocketry will host Inspiring Rockets Feb. 20-22, 2015. Pat Fitzpatrick, cS member and a member of the museum's space flight committee, shares:
The featured guest speaker will be astronaut Jay Apt who carried a special Astron Scout model rocket belonging to Vern Estes into orbit on STS-37. That model and a host of other historical and significant rocketry artifacts will form a permanent exhibit as part of Space Academy in the Charles Simonyi Space Gallery.

The space industry will be represented with presentations by Aerojet, XCOR, Space Tethers, and others. Historical presentations include a presentation on the X-20 DynaSoar by Dr. Roy Houchin, and the V-2 by Dr. Dieter Zube of Aerojet.

All times are CT (US)
