The Space Association of Australia Inc., in conjunction with Working Dog, are hosting a one off screening of the Australian movie 'The Dish', to mark the 45th anniversary of Apollo 11.This will be the first opportunity in many years to see this treasured Australian film on the big screen and in ultra comfort.
While we all may be aware of the historical inaccuracies and misinformation in the film, it is a fun romp and we hope to have an enjoyable afternoon with friends new and old to mark the occasion.
You are all invited to join us! Ticketing and further details are to come but we do plan to conduct some presentations as part of the program.
At this stage the working title of a post movie presentation will be "The Dish, fact and fiction", in which we will attempt to set the record straight and inform the audience a little of the true events and significance of Honeysuckle Creek and the wider Australian involvement.
