I got an e-mail on SpaceUp Seattle on April 13-14, does anyone know more about these weekend events?

SpaceUp events are "unconferences" or bar camps — no agenda is set in advance; the attendees decide on the agenda and are the speakers.

Here is the museum's press release about the event:

Commercial Space Symposium at Museum April 13-14

The first "SpaceUp" event in the Northwest welcomes all to the next frontier, astronaut Garrett Reisman and space companies on roster

The Museum of Flight is hosting the Northwest's first "SpaceUp" symposium April 13-14, with a weekend devoted to assessing, plotting and pondering the future of commercial space exploration. SpaceUp "unconferences" are open-ended meetings held in major cities around the world to focus attention on space exploration. SpaceUp Seattle is an interactive conversation about the cutting-edge evolution of commercial space flight. The event is open to space enthusiasts of all ages.

Commercial spaceflight businesses and organizations scheduled to attend include Blue Origin, Space X, Planetary Resources, Commercial Spaceflight Federation, and The Boeing Company: Defense, Space and Security. On April 13, the special guest is two-time space shuttle astronaut and SpaceX senior engineer Garrett Reisman. Everyone at SpaceUp is encouraged to give a talk, moderate a panel or start a discussion.

The event is 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 13, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 14. Registration $40 general/$35 Museum Members. Tickets online at museumtix.com.

So, did anyone here go to this event?

Lacking any clear agenda from what I could see, I decided against going but I am curious of the opinions of anyone who did go...

As mentioned, bar camps/unconferences do not have an agenda set in advance. The participants decide the schedule and the speakers at the event itself. In other words, you could have gone, chose a topic to talk about and scheduled yourself a room and time to do so.
