NASA Glenn Research Center will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first Centaur rocket at the Great Lakes Science Center in Cleveland, Ohio on Nov. 22.
Come learn about Centaur's rich history, including NASA Glenn's role in perfecting its performance and using it for more than 100 launches, from an impressive line up of guests — such as former NASA Glenn center directors, Larry Ross and Andrew Stofan, as well as industry representatives. NASA Associate Administrator Robert Lightfoot will share highlights of NASA's future in space exploration. Center Director Jim Free will provide opening remarks.
All festivities will be inside the NASA Visitor Center at the GLSC. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for the reception, when guests will have an opportunity to mingle and explore the NASA galleries. Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m.
