Yep. I wonder if space artist David A. Hardy will be there again? I bought a dvd off him last year which I forgot to get signed. |

According to the local press the event attracted 1500 visitors last year. If you can make it, please do! |

A great day, excellent attendance, especially as the winter snow made its first appearance locally first thing this morning, it didn’t stick however. Well done to the organisers, volunteers and the general public for attending. We set up a space robotics themed display complete with a robot arm and Mars rover. With the arm the kids (and adults) had to take a chocolate from a large tin and place it in a small container via the mouse/keyboard. They could eat the chocolate if successful; a completely empty family size tin of Cadburys Roses disappeared. Nice to see all of the usual suspects: the Shaylers, Chris, Jerry Stone, Mark Perman, BIS chief Alistair and many more besides. Great Helen Sharman interview video aired for the first time I believe, it will be on YouTube in the near future. Nice one Alan Marlow. |
