I'll be there.

I haven't been to Fox Brothers since that big tree took out most of the dining area a few months ago. I think it's the best BBQ joint in Atlanta.

Every time I've been to Fox Brothers an odd thing happens. Three geeks with nothing but space on their minds sit at my table. On a positive note one of the geeks did pay for my meal once.

Note that the time for the meet up has changed from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm. I changed the time in the original post above as well.

I'll call today to check on reservations -- if they don't do reservations, I'll just get there a little early to grab a couple tables. Looks like we have 6-8 coming.

See y'all there!

The food will definitely be prettier than the attendees.

It was great to get together with everyone, and I found out they served brontosaurus (at least that was what the rib looked like it came from).

It was good to finally meet you guys. Right after everyone else had left, I said, "Shoot, we forgot to take a picture!". Oh, well ... next time.

Thanks again to Fred for the goodies.

My pleasure, as we talked about, Jackie and I took the opportunity, in that we only 10 minutes away, to visit the Apollo 6 CM. I will post pictures of that as soon as I can.

Here are a couple of photos of Apollo 6 that we took after our lunch visit. The good news is they have the hatch covered again so it is no longer an invitation to use it as a basketball hoop. The display is unchanged but it is still cool that we have an example of a Block I flown CM here in Georgia.

Fred, I've been meaning to pop along and see Apollo 6 but the late opening time of the Center has usually put me off (I only get 24 hrs in Atlanta usually). However, seeing your photo has strengthened my resolve and I may make it an early New Year visit.

It is well worth the visit. Does this mean we have to make it a point to see Apollo X next year? It is the only one we have not see at this point.
