Has anyone been to NASA's Destination Station yet? What's it like? I'm hoping to get up there sometime later in the month. Are there any astronauts scheduled to appear? If so, who and when?
Destination Station is NASA's International Space Station Program national awareness campaign that promotes research opportunities, educates communities about activities performed on the International Space Station, and communicates the real and potential impacts of the station on our everyday lives.

What is the International Space Station? The International Space Station is an internationally-developed research facility located in Earth’s lower orbit. It is the largest space station ever constructed. It serves as a research laboratory where astronauts from around the world conduct experiments in human health and exploration, technology testing for enabling future exploration, research in basic life and physical sciences, and earth and space science.

A Twitter town hall was held in North Carolina earlier this year, in conjunction with Destination: Station. Bill McArthur and Nancy Currie were there, the latter because she teaches at NC State.

Megan McArthur was at a D:S event in San Jose, Calif., and Rex Walheim at Oakland, Calif.

Haven't heard about Boston, but I would guess at Nick Patrick being there, because he's been known to do guest presentations/lectures at MIT on a frequent basis.

All times are CT (US)
